Everything is changing for Jessie. She has a new bedroom in a new home, a new walk to school and a loud and smelly new baby brother. Life is very difficult but then Jessie meets The Fairies at the Bottom of the Garden near The Muddy Patch and everything changes again. Life is difficult for The Fairies as well, as people put up buildings and gardens and the woodlands disappear. The Fairies help Jessie with her problems. Jessie saves the lives of The Fairies and performs a fairy wedding. The Queen of the Fairies is bossy, vain, rude and shouty - capable of interfering in any problem. At the end of the book, The Queen decides to organise Father Christmas and Jessie gets to meet The Man himself. The book is very funny, sparkling, positive and covered in fairy dust!
